A new milestone for Camping La Peyrugue

This year, Camping La Peyrugue in Daglan officially joined the national Accueil Vélo network, a wonderful recognition that perfectly matches the way we live and share our region.

Welcoming guests who want to discover Dordogne differently is something that truly matters to us. Cycling is a fantastic way to slow down, immerse yourself in the landscapes and fully enjoy everything the Périgord Noir has to offer.

And we’re lucky to have a major asset right at the foot of the campsite: the Céou Greenway.

This is one of the main reasons why we decided to join the Accueil Vélo network.

From Camping La Peyrugue, you can easily access this pleasant greenway, which follows a former railway line through beautiful landscapes in the Périgord Noir.

We know it particularly well because we regularly cycle there ourselves, either as a couple or with our family.

What we love most is that every season offers a completely different experience.

In spring, nature comes back to life and the scenery turns into countless shades of green. During summer, the trees provide welcome shade for morning rides. In autumn, the colours become spectacular and completely transform the landscape. Even in winter, the atmosphere is unique and offers a different perspective on our region.

Of course, during the peak summer season, running the campsite keeps us busy and we don’t have as much time to enjoy it. But as soon as the season slows down, especially after summer, we happily get back on our bikes. Beautiful sunny days are still plentiful in Dordogne and it’s one of our favourite times of the year.
