Nestled on a hill in the middle of nature, you will enjoy the panoramic view of the C\u00e9ou Valley.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Ecological camping in Dordogne<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Born in the deep countryside of the Hauts-de-France, we have naturally and unconsciously always participated in the ecosystem that surrounds us. We feel <strong>eco-responsible<\/strong> for our surroundings. Obvious everyday actions to respect our environment and protect our planet.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Our campsite in the Dordogne: an ecological approach<\/span><\/h3>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Ecology goes hand in hand with environmental protection: the watchwords on the campsite.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Naturally, we have continued our ecological habits on our <strong>family campsite in the Dordogne<\/strong> and for us, being <strong>eco-responsible<\/strong> is part of our habits. Here are some of our practices already adopted in favour of the environment and sustainable development.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Important water management on our nature campsite<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">In order to save water for distribution, the campsite is equipped with rainwater collectors and allows the watering of flowered areas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">We recently installed timed taps in the toilets. The shower taps have a timer button.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">There are divisional water meters per sector, which makes it easier to find leaks.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Discover a natural campsite thanks to controlled lighting<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">We have replaced the bulbs with low-energy bulbs in all accommodation and common buildings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">We have installed presence detectors for lighting certain toilets and dark paths.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Ecotourism is also about waste management.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com\/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR3rU_r4lHNxCS_kAbIQEkWOre4bDTfV42qt0qRRB3PNcD6enFM\" alt=\"R\u00c3\u00a9sultat de recherche d'images pour &quot;image tri s\u00c3\u00a9lectif&quot;\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">You will find the implementation of selective sorting on the campsite, with an e<a href=\"http:\/\/sictom-perigord-noir.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/consignes-de-tri-Emb-et-Pap.png\">xplanatory poster<\/a> of the waste to be sorted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">For many years now for glass, plastic, cardboard, paper but also new this year, container for used batteries and bags available for dog excrement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Two composters are installed on the campsite. Composting food waste, collecting mowing and shredding are recycled for green spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Concerned about our environment, reducing paper consumption is also part of our actions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">For this purpose, we print on both sides and re-use the draft papers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">We have chosen electronic correspondence in order to limit the sending of paper to what is strictly necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">A preserved nature for a healthy campsite<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">The developments are designed with a view to integrating into the natural environment. You will find many hikes from the campsite. He has always dreamed of expanding his knowledge to beekeeping.
